To celebrate the start of a busy summer season, the Mt. Washington Auto Road is inviting NH locals to enjoy a journey to the summit of Mt. Washington on their own at a discounted rate.
From June 7–13, 2026, residents of NH can drive a safe carload up the Auto Road for a flat fee. This means that a safe carload of four guests, i.e. one driver and three passengers, will pay just $50 at the Toll House. A single driver will pay $26, which is $10 off the 2026 Season drive-yourself rate.
Journey to the summit of Mt. Washington before tourism industry members dig in for the busy summer season ahead! Drivers simply need to present a valid ID at the Toll House.
