ROAD STATUS: The Auto Road will re-open at 9am-5pm on Friday, May 30th, weather permitting.

Last car up at 5:00 pm

Great Glen Trails is OPEN for walking and running daily. Biking and guided kayaking should be booked ahead of time.

Base Lodge: Open, come visit the Gift Shop 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Pinkham Notch Market: Open, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center: Opening weekends starting May 17th!

Summit Stage Gift Shop: Open from 9AM until 5 PM.

Red Barn Museum: Starting May 24 11am–3pm

Hideaway Gift Shop & Gas Station: Open from 9 AM until 5 PM, daily.

Operations Update Monday, 5/26/25:
As of 2pm, the Road is open to the summit (6,288 feet). Last car up by 5pm.

Road Crew’s clearing efforts were a success! Yesterday, they encountered 7-foot snow drifts past 5,800 feet. To contend with the May snow, the Pisten Bully came out of summer storage today to help with the final stretch. Thank you Road Crew! We can’t wait to welcome folks back to the top of the tallest peak in the Northeast. Hope to see you soon...
